The Action Committee of the IAA met with the Office of Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema on Friday, August 17th to discuss concerns we have about our weakening patent system. We are looking for support from her on the Inventor Protection Act (HR6557). They were very gracious and considerate, and listened carefully, but made no commitment for support. We will continue to be in touch with this office as Arizona Congresswoman Sinema continues with her candidacy for the U.S. Senate. We hope to get her support and co-sponsorship of this important bill.
