“Michael S. Neustel, a U.S. Registered Patent Attorney, founded the National Inventor Fraud Center, Inc. (NIFC) with the goal to provide information to consumers about invention promotion companies and how people can market their ideas.  Many inventors do not realize that some invention marketing companies charge thousands of dollars, yet have success rates of 0.00%.  The goal of the NIFC is to educate and help inventors make the right decisions.  The NIFC is owned by Neustel Law Offices, LTD.
Here are some tips for new inventors:
  1. Don’t Rush. Never “rush” into the invention process. Make sure to take your time before making important decisions that affect you and your invention.
  2. Investigate. Thoroughly investigate any invention promotion company BEFORE providing them with your invention or money.
  3. Education. Educate yourself about the invention process and invention marketing companies.
  4. “Objective” Evaluations. It is important to have an objective invention “marketability” evaluation performed by a third-party.
  5. Inventors Groups. It is very important to network with inventors in your area. Contact a local inventors group and attend a meeting before going further with the invention process.”- Inventor Fraud

Phase 10, a product made by an inventor!

Need a last minute gift? Created by Ken Johnson: “From the makers of UNO™ comes a rummy-type card game with a challenging and exciting twist! The object of the game is to be the first player to complete 10 varied phases with two sets of three, one run of seven, or seven cards with the same color. The twist is that each Phase to be completed is specific for each hand dealt.
Players who complete one Phase advance to the next, but those who don’t must keep trying until they do. Each deck features “Wild” and Skip” cards, which add excitement and can help you get out of a sticky situation. A “Wild” card can be used in place of a number card, as well as be used as any color to complete any phase, while a “Skip” card causes your opponent to lose a turn! Be the first person to complete all ten phases to win the game.” – Mattel
