You heard me right.
Every exhibitor who canceled would have been an empty table and believe it or not almost half of the tables changed hands before the dead line and another 8 or so changed hands the week of the show.
We only had 2 no shows and by some divine intervention 2 other groups showed up hoping to find a space. Thankfully, I don’t have hair anymore or it would have been all over the floor.
As you know we had two of the most influential speakers in the Independent Inventor’s Community, Louis Foreman and Stephen Key giving presentations. Can you imagine my embarrassment if half the tables were empty? Instead, both of them commented on how professional everything was including a number of the inventions.
I want to thank all my Blue Shirted Volunteers, the Library Staff, the Exhibitors, Pitch Event Contestants and the Attendees. You all made it happen and me very proud!
Next year, will even be better than the Better Than FREE Inventor’s EXPO. Ron Sargent is next up on April 13th. Some of you already know Ron from coming to some of our meetings but for those who don’t you might be impressed with his work on the early cruise control for GM or the work he did on nine of the fountains in Epcot center or the Polaris pool cleaner. However, among his over 40 Utility Patents and Trade Secrets, my personal favorite is the camping Porto Potty that almost 40 years ago allowed my blushing bride from Manhattan to enjoy the woods and nature on her own terms.
He will be giving us a presentation on how to control your creativity to give it real value. Fortune 500 companies paid him a fortune to educate their employees to these principals. We are getting the same program for FREE.

Let’s face it, there is SO much to learn, SO much hard work to do to make money in this business it can seem like the Impossible Dream but it is like they say, Every journey begins with a single step.
Make that commitment to set aside the second Saturday of every month for your education. If you really want to move forward, set a goal every month then use that education to achieve it and if you Really, Really want to move forward, at the end of every meeting when I open the floor brag about the achievements you made in the past month. It an’t braggin’ if it’s true. Not only will you feel stronger and motivated after sharing with the group but you just might inspire someone else to take their next step.
