Technology & Innovation, journal of the National Academy of Inventors, is currently seeking manuscripts for a special topic issue titled “Materials & Manufacturing.” Our ability to create new materials, develop alternate manufacturing processes, as well as improve existing materials and manufacturing methods, is key to major advancements in various industries and a true driver of innovation. Producing effective medicines; cheaper, lighter, and functional consumer products; and sustainable solutions in all fields depends, to a large extent, on the efficiency of materials and manufacturing.

This issue features special editor Rathindra “Babu” DasGupta, NAI Fellow and faculty member at University of Wisconsin-Madison. Initial manuscripts should be submitted by September 3, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Submissions should be sent to Cera Shain, Editorial Coordinator for Technology & Innovation. Submissions should include all author credits, corresponding author contact information, an abstract, and any figures or tables embedded in the document. References should be formatted according to CSE citation-sequence format. All submissions should be submitted as .doc or .docx files.
