| Hello friends:
First, a bit of good news – we have reached over 1000 members on our IGA website. That’s wonderful and I hope that we continue to grow as the word gets out about our resources and support that we provide to the inventing community for free.
But, there’s some bad news!
I write to you with a sense of urgency – we need to do a better job! We need to change the way our members are submitting products to companies and we need to do it NOW. If we do not, our list of companies is going to dwindle – we have already been asked by one to remove their contact information from our directory!
Last week, we sent out our bi-monthly newsletter – and in it we featured a company — Fred and Friends, as an inventor-friendly company looking for ideas.
24 hours later we received an email from Fred and Friends asking us to remove their name! Why? Because in that 24 hour period they had received over 100 product submissions, most of which were not appropriate for their company!
“Please have your community STOP sending us product ideas” was the direct quote from our contact there. “Your members did not do the homework that is required to submit good products that will fit into our product line”.
What are some of the issues? Well for one – some inventors submitted products that are already on the market! Others submitted products that have nothing to do with the company’s product line! There are other issues as well.
Folks, we cannot have this! We have spent a lot of time cultivating relationships with companies that are inventor friendly and we do not want to jeopardize these relationships.

In this Special Webinar we will discuss the RIGHT way to go about submitting an idea for review – and we will ask that you share this information with your community as fast as you can.
Please sign up to attend! We will record the meeting and post it on the IGA website so that any inventor can access this important information.
