FOR MEDICAL AND TECHNOLOGY PRODUCT INVENTORS!
New Product Development(NPD), requires organization and methodology. Any project or business benefits from a process that organizes tasks and defines the required inputs and outputs. The intent is to make efficient use of resources, time, and money and to best profit from the efforts.
This Special Interest Presentation will include steps to develop any business type whether it is a service, software, or physical product, and especially, medical products.
Included in this discussion are the FDA CRF820 requirements for a Quality Management System (QMS) which dictate a need for well defined processes, documentation, and accomodation for Risk Management when developing and deploying medical devices.
The NPD presentation also provides insights into venture capital investment. When seeking funding for exploiting invention or a establishing new business, it is critical to provide details of planned actions and also the financial analysis of such plans.
NPDPRO.com online application tool will be briefly reviewed for those interested in the financial simulation, from “concept to cash flow”, of their project or business.

Anthony Esposito
As the, CEO of Avatar Engineering Corporation and NPD Pro founder, Anthony has been a product developer for 40 years in medical, military, and commercial industries. He is an electrical and software engineer, technical fellow, manager, director and consultant.
