Huge Makers Farie
For those who don’t know, the Maker Movement was big about 8 years back. There were local maker groups as well as small and large events all over the country. One of the biggest events is still in Orlando on November 9th and 10th but you Must register to exhibit by August 31st. Here is the link http://bit.ly/2Ot0voG
The show attracts about 20,000 attendees and there is usually a special area for inventions. David Wood of the Inventors Counsel of Central Florida runs that area and sends out all sorts of great tips and information regarding how to get the most out of the show. In the past, they have collected the demographic information so if you do a survey, all you need is the persons’ ticket number. Here is his email address [email protected]

Cow Burp Breakthrough
The University of the Sunshine Coast (UCS) in Queensland Australia made a major discovery that will have a monumental impact on our environment and I’m not making this up. It has long been known that the methane produced by cow, sheep and goat burps contribute significantly to global warming. By adding less than 2% of a seaweed called Asparagopsis to their dry food reduces their gaseous output by 99%.

Jean Blackwell Font is, among many other things, the Director of Programs and Events for the Arts and Business Council of Miami. This is an incredible organization. They bring together business people and creatives like fine artists, writers, inventors, videographers, etc. to help the creatives commercialize their art. What a concept!!! They are holding a FREE event on 10/10/19 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm called From Idea To Reality, Every successful venture begins with one thing: a good idea. This one covers a lot of intellectual property issues. They will have a speaker, a panel discussion and deep dive coaching round tables on a variety of subjects. The Florida Woman’s Business Center has a ton of FREE programs that are for both men and women. Get It Done is a workshop to get your company certified as woman owned, Minority owned, veteran owned and other small businesses as well as to become a registered vendor for various government agencies. TEDx Boca
TED stands for Technology Entertainment Design. The x designates that it is a local event instead of the national or global event. You can find a lot of TED talks on Google.
