Dr. Panchanthan to New Role
The NAI is proud to announce that Dr. Sethuraman “Panch” Panchanathan has stepped into a new role with us. Dr. Panchanathan will serve as Vice President of Membership and Strategic Initiative for the NAI’s Board of Directors. 
The Anjani Mashelkar Foundation is now accepting nominations for the 8th Annual Anjani Mashelkar Inclusive Innovation Award. Dr. R. A. Mashelkar is a distinguished NAI Fellow. Learn more about the award by following the link below.

RMIT UNIVERSITY
One of Australia’s original tertiary institutions, RMIT University enjoys an international reputation for excellence in professional and vocational education, applied research, and engagement with the needs of industry and the community.  The institution was established in 1887 as the Working Men’s College, with the aim of bringing education to the working people of Melbourne. It was awarded royal  patronage by Queen Elizabeth II in 1954, with the right to use the prefix “Royal.” RMIT obtained university status in 1992 by an Act of the Australian State Parliament of Victoria. The National Academy of Inventors (NAI) is a member organization comprising U.S. and international universities, and governmental and non-profit research institutes, with over 4,000 individual inventor members and Fellows spanning more than 250 institutions worldwide. It was founded in 2010 to recognize and encourage inventors with patents issued from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, enhance the visibility of academic technology and innovation, encourage the disclosure of intellectual property, educate and mentor innovative students, and translate the inventions of its members to benefit society.
