2 Quick Things

Rebecca Murphey runs the USPTO Resource Center up in Orlando. I’ve been there a few years back when they ran another event and they did a great job. This one looks really good as well and you can earn CLE credits. Here’s what she sent to me.

Join the UCF Library as we celebrate the 30th anniversary of becoming a Patent and Trademark depository library!  This one-day FREE seminar, “Researching Patent and Trademark Information”, features a range of informational sessions for inventors, entrepreneurs, educators, students, and legal professionals.

You may stay for the entire seminar, or only come for part of the day, but those seeking CLE credits must attend all sessions.  Advance registration is recommended so that we may get attendees a complimentary parking pass and estimate attendance.

See http://guides.ucf.edu/PTRC2018  for registration and speaker info.

Ever hear of the Slanket or the Blankoat.

NO !!! However, everybody knows the Snuggie. What made it famous and literally dozens of forerunners failures? The Pitch! The first time that I saw it I was so comfy under a blanket that when the show I was watching turned into an endless stream of infomercials I didn’t want to reach out for the remote to change the channel and poof, the answer to my dilemma appeared as if it was a gift from God.

So let me ask you, do you want to be a Slanket or a Blankoat or would you rather come to the meeting this Saturday 12/8/18 and learn how to become a Sunggie?

Dan Gudema has been running pitch events for years. So he has seen it all and knows what works and what doesn’t. He has also created and secured funding for several high tech start ups. This is a man who can teach you how to turn your Slanket into a Sunggie.

This will be a popular meeting and we are beginning to reach capacity. So don’t wait to the last minute Register Now by going to http://bit.ly/2zh7y9q .

Just to remind everyone, Dan will be going on first. So try to be there when the doors open at 12:30 because you don’t want to miss any of his presentation.

After his presentation, we will have a high tech company with a very interesting product give us a pitch. They will be looking for our feedback so this should be fun.

As usual our meeting is at the James A. Rutherford Community Center at Patch Reef Park 2000 West Yamato Road which is a ¼ mile west of Military Trail in Boca Raton FL 33431.

Hope To See You There,

Leo
